Privé Keppel Bay
Privé is a wonderful restaurant at the edge of the water at Keppel Bay. You can enjoy a vegan Mediterranean Salad alongisde lovely views of the Marina, while kids dig into PB&J with Flourless Banana & Oat-Pancakes. With a plethora of veg options for salads, mains, drinks and desserts, you will be spoilt for choice. We especially love their indulgent, and completely vegan, Blueberry Almond Cake. The cherry on the cake is the little outdoor playground and a kids’ corner where the little ones can watch cartoons on a TV. Kids also receive colouring supplies to keep them occupied. Every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month is Kids’ Day – from 12noon to 3pm, there are magic shows, balloon sculpting and glitter tattoos. The sand playground and open space to run around means you can eat in peace. They even give out crayons and paper for the little ones to get creative. A special kids menu is the icing on the cake. Café Melba
The Goodman Arts Centre branch of Cafe Melba is very popular with families with kids, ours included. Dine out near the lawns for a picnic-type vibe and watch the kids have a gala time on the bouncy castle which they put up on weekdays from 3pm – 8pm and weekends & Public Holidays from 9am – 8pm. Besides the bouncy, they also offer ‘Monthly Art & Craft Fun’ every first Saturday of the month. Still want more? Kids eat free every Monday (with the purchase of any main meal) and there is a little arts and crafts corner set up for them to have an art jamming session.
There are enough options for vegetarians and the gluten-free, to draw in the crowds. A Kids Set Menu is another plus. If you eat egg, there is even more variety for you. Choose from Starters, Sandwiches and Burgers, Pasta, Pizzas & Calzones and desserts.

Marché
When you’re talking family-friendly, Marché has to be on the list. If you’ve lived in Singapore more than a few days, chances are you’ve already eaten at Marché. From the fresh hand pressed Juices to Salads, Sandwiches, Soups and Gourmet Pizzas, vegetarians have a lot to choose from – we specially love the savoury crepes. Or maybe we love the sweet crepes more. Kids can enjoy one free Picky Kids Meal with a minimum spend of S$60 in a single receipt and it includes a choice of drink, main course and dessert. Marché Mövenpick 313@somerset, Suntec City and VivoCity offer indoor kids play area, high chairs and Brio table (not available at 313@somerset). District 10 Restaurant & Bar at UE Square
If not for the food, you will surely want to go here for the Bouncy castle (on weekends and public holidays) that is just next to your table when you dine outdoors. We’ve not eaten here much, but we’ve gone a couple of times for the unbeatable combination of bouncy and ice-cold brew.

Boomarang at Robertson Quay
With more than a few vegetarian menu options and a Kids Little Tackers Menu, this authentic Australian cuisine café, bar & bistro serves good food. The kids’ menu doesn’t really have too many veg choices but it does come as a colour-in sheet for some kiddy fun. The main menu is quite vegetarian-friendly though. At Robertson Quay by the Singapore River, the massive front of the restaurant offers ample parking, tables with river view and open area for kids to play.
