Vegetarian & Vegan Dining Review at Mezza9, Grand Hyatt, Singapore

On 16th Aug, Mezza9 launched South-East Asia’s first Beyond Burger, the iconic plant-based burger that tastes like the real deal. The burger has proven to be immensely popular since, it is available as Classic Cheese Burger (brioche bun, vegan cheddar, vegan mayo and pickled gherkins) and Modern Asian Burger (Furikake, Sriracha, pickled daikon and ginger between a corn bun). Hold on for Mezza9 has much more to offer, the restaurant serves 9 different dining and wining experiences. Try the Oxheart Tomato Salad (S$12), Ancient Grain Salad, and the super-fiery Yum Makeua Yao (Thai style grilled eggplant is flavoured with chilli, mint and tamarind, topped with tomatoes and shallots, S$16). The Clay Pot with Braised Beancurd, black fungus, mushrooms and colourful bell peppers in a fermented bean paste is a must, as is the moreish, plant-based Yasai Sushi Moriawase. End on a sweet note with the Mezza9 Dessert Extravaganza. All this, while still exhibiting ample focus on taste, freshness, flavour, healthiness and sustainability.
